I’m just back from seeing a student production of Hairspray in Helsinki, at Aleksanterinteatteri.
1) Hairspray is one of the very few musicals I like where no one dies.
2) Go see the production if you can! I’ll try to get a real review done soon, but in short: I enjoyed it better than many professional productions I’ve seen. Great energy, great voices, I had a great time. If you’ve nothing to do next week, seriously, consider!
