Today’s task in multimedia journalism: taking my audio and my photographs and combining them into a video.

I can either walk a whole kilometer to school to do this with a professional video editing programme, or I can go nowhere and put some goo together in Windows Movie Maker.

I’ve listened to the CD and also seen one video of it. I really like the CD. Weirdly enough, I wasn’t as amazed by the video. Still, I thought it was interesting and would really love to see it live!

Hello you, who are new to my blog or otherwise haven’t been paying attention to everything I’ve rambled about since forever!

ÅST: Åbo Svenska Teater, a theatre in Finland
ÅST Les Mis: the production of Les Mis ÅST did in 10–12 (more info)
TT: Tampereen Teatteri, a theatre in Finland
TT Les Mis: the production of Les Mis TT will premiere in fall 13
TT Les Mis will be a replica of ÅST Les Mis and has some of the same actors (I loved ÅST Les Mis, but here’s what I feel about TT so far)

That might explain something, I guess. Continue blogging, I shall continue drowning your dash in this stuff!

It’s Petja Lähde, a Finnish actor who will play Valjean in the upcoming Tampereen Teatteri Les Mis.

As for this… Couldn’t even put it in the same set with the others since it looks so different…

Anyway, this doesn’t look so much like ÅST anymore, apart from the background. Ugh. I wish I could know how many of these costumes they’ll keep and how many are just for the photos!

Since they’re going for the replica route… Both Sören and Metsäketo look somehow wrong since they’re in the ÅST costumes but the former’s sideburns and the latter’s hair are all different!!

Agh, this is going to take some getting used to…

The first press photos for the upcoming Tampereen Teatteri production of Les Misérables.

Well well well!!

1) The costumes – are they the same ones they used at ÅST or done for this production? Because they look one hundred percent like ÅST leftovers. It’s very early, so of course there could be changes, but… Oh well. This thing is going to look like ÅST, I’ve known that for ages, now I’ve got to learn to live with it.

2) Looooooove the JVJ and Javert photo!! Intense… Looking good, both of them. Sören’s got bigger sideburns than in ÅST?? Love JVJ’s hair – even though it looks a bit, well, wig-like –, I think the colour is perfect.

3) I think Fantine’s costume looks a bit wrong without the blonde hair. The brunette hair here is too close to the shawl’s colour. Anyway, I guess they can give her a blonde wig still (or, more interestingly, a new costume)..?

4) Metsäketo, um, your hair? Uh, um. Mariusss. Such an adorable Cosette though, just look at that cutie and her lovely bonnet and hair and smile!!

5) Now give us Enjolras.
